Kodak Will Go Behind-the-Scenes With Oscar®-Nominee Rodrigo Prieto at Cine Gear Expo
LOS ANGELES, May 30, 2012 — Kodak will host a conversation, “Rodrigo Prieto, ASC, AMC: Brilliance in Focus” on Saturday, June 2, at Cine Gear Expo in Los Angeles. Join the discussion at 11:45 a.m. in the Sherry Lansing Theater on the Paramount Lot.
Prieto’s forthcoming feature Argo, directed by Ben Affleck, is the dramatic, true story of the bold escape of six Americans from Teheran at the height of the Iranian revolution. Prieto brings compelling visuals to the emotionally-charged tale. Prieto will discuss the choice to shoot Argo with a range of formats, including 35mm anamorphic and 2-perf Super 35, to visually delineate different aspects of the story.
Prieto has built an enviable resume since bursting on the scene with Amores Perros, the feature that brought him international attention. He has worked with some of the most talented and innovative directors of our time including Alejandro González Iñárritu, Pedro Almodóvar, Oliver Stone, Ang Lee, Curtis Hanson and Cameron Crowe. Prieto’s credits include We Bought A Zoo, Water for Elephants, Biutiful, Babel, Brokeback Mountain, 21 Grams, 8 Mile and Frida, to name a few.
Join Kodak for this extraordinary glimpse behind the scenes. The discussion is free with admission to Cine Gear Expo. Advanced registration for the Expo can be done at www.cinegearexpo.com.
